What is MBBS:

Before starting we discuss the Career In MBBS, we should all know about the MBBS. The MBBS is an undergraduate degree program in the medical field.MBBS stands for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. MBBS is the most popular and designated degree of doctors.
These are the two bachelor degrees in one domain as the Bachelor of Medicine and the Bachelor of Surgery.

The duration of MBBS course is five years and six months including one year of rotational internship at hospitals, health centers, and health camps organized by Non-Profit Organisations (NGOs).

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), in reply to a question, asked in the Lok Sabha on March 23, 2018, shared that the total number of MBBS seats in the country is around 66,620. For these seats, the number of candidates annually applying is close to 13 lakh.

MBBS: Who Should Opt? :

Students who have a keen interest in learning the basics of the human body, its workings and also the diagnosis of diseases and their cures, should opt for this course.

Eligibility & Admission :

1. Students should have to complete their 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry & Biology and score minimum 50% marks (40% in the case of reserved category).

2. Student’s age should be between 17 years to 25 years.

3.students have to appear for the National Level Examination conducted by the CBSE, New Delhi, i.e. NEET 2019 (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test)
